Looking for Roommate in a Great 2br/2ba near ISB$ 550.00
Practicing Muslim male grad student at Hopkins (with stable income) looking to share the second bedroom and bathroom of a 2br/2ba with another Muslim male. Property is 7 min. from ISB and is in the Reserve at Stonegate apartment complex.
I'm about to move in to a spacious 2br/2ba apartment in Windsor Mill. There's no good reason for me to pay for the whole thing myself, it's way more room than one person could need! The area is very quiet and safe, and maybe about 5 minutes from the junction of the 695 and the 70 and 7 minutes from ISB (we can frequently share rides to prayers inshaAllah). I work in the city at Hopkins (further than downtown) and the commute is only about 30 minutes. You would cover your half of the utilities (gas, electric, internet, etc.). It's a 2br/2ba and you'll have the 2nd (still very big) bedroom and your own private bathroom. About me: I'm a male (only brothers please) Graduate Student at Hopkins which gives me a steady income and I have impeccable credit and rental history so you don't have to worry about me crashing out of my half of the rent. I'm a fairly laid back and easy going guy, sociable and friendly, but often private. I'm an american born Muslim but I am practicing so I pray 5 times a day, don't drink or anything else like that, and am primarily considering this place because of its proximity to the Masjid. I have no idea what my hours will be, they will vary wildly from day to do so don't count on it always being empty during the day or anything like that. Also, I prefer that the common areas be both fairly clean and uncluttered most of the time...but I'm a graduate student so I'm sure I'll break that rule myself! Just make sure that you don't have expired food or dishes that haven't been washed in more than a day or so laying around. I won't be a nazi and say "these have been there for a day!" but if I need the space or if I think things are getting a little ripe I'll just let you know, and please do let me know the same if anything I'm doing is causing an issue for you! Similarly you can keep your room as messy as you want but just don't have stuff that would attract problems (like food or spilled drinks or anything that'll smell up the place). I had bad experiences with my last roommate and started getting moths due to his not paying attention to food. Thankfully it was only at the kitchen and didn't get in my stuff but still, there's roaches in baltimore and I don't want to attract trouble! I believe there is ample parking in the parking lot, but call them directly to verify that if you're concerned. It's a very safe area and I'm not concerned about safety for my car (Volvo)
